Raveena's new album reminds us to care for ourselves deeply, love what comes our way, and look forward to what we may become in the future. Growth, as she tells us, is something we can find any time, anywhere, as long as we trust ourselves enough to pursue it.
'Asha's Awakening' And I 🧚🌎🌱🌺
"Knowing I'm growing, even if I'm falling apart. Knowing I'm okay, even if I gotta restart." – Track 11 on "Asha's Awakening"

With "Asha's Awakening," I did something I hadn't done in a while––I listened to the entire tracklist in order, with my full attention focused on the album and nothing else. I put my phone out of sight, closed my computer browsers, and got into a comfortable spot in my room.
While streaming the songs, I couldn't help but feel lifted to another place; another galaxy of Raveena's creation. This space I imagined was filled with light and healing energy. I felt powerful and free at the same time. The combination of ambient music and the clarity the songs provided was soothing to my mind and soul.
My hope is that you find at least one song on the album that has this same effect on you. There's something magical about Raveena's lyricism and euphoric tone that you won't soon forget. It's almost as though that was her intention all along; to get her voice stuck in your mind, so you won't lose sight of the essential truths she's telling you.
As I went through the album, I wrote down the messages each song conveyed. Some were about love, others about lust, but most were about finding the universe inside ourselves and with its strength, seeing the world through a renewed perspective; one completely of our own making, without any external influences clouding our internal views.
I invite you to listen to the 15 tracks and go on a personal spiritual journey of your own. To engage your mind and awaken the parts of your soul you've hidden far away. Let "Asha's Awakening" be the medicine that heals, opens, and brings you joy, even in the bleakest of times.

Messages From the Tracklist 💌✨💚🪴
"Settle into your protective field of light. In this space, you are unconditionally loved." – Track 15 "Asha's Awakening"
Read through the collapsible list below to get a sense of what songs will resonate with you right now. What song will you stream first?
Rush
Living in love is a natural cure for that which harms our psyche. Allowing ourselves the freedom to "rush" into what brings us fulfillment––without inner judgment, or external expectations––is a healing decision for both the body and mind.
Secret (feat. Vince Staples)
Sometimes we hide our feelings for another person and that "secret" is something that keeps us up at night. It's hard to not think about it, especially when it seems to be the only thing on our mind. From it comes a deep desire to be around that person, to express passion toward them, and to release the weight of the inaction once and for all.
Magic
Being tender in love is "magic(al)." Combined with togetherness, vulnerability and physical touch, love is revealed and maintained between two partners. Opening up within the relationship and accepting and reciprocating adoration are powerful feats.
Kismet
It's okay to play around and have fun in love. Messing around and letting in the things that make us feel good positively reinforces the fire in our souls. It allows in newness, excitement and the release of pent-up emotions.
Kathy Left 4 Kathmandu
Embracing your culture is great, but adopting another's as your own is not. Choosing to romanticize a culture outside of yours is something people in that country would find strange––and even tourist-like. Needless to say, the act of selectively incorporating aspects of another's culture into one's own to appear worldly, is a big red flag.
Mystery
When you find "your person" settling down seems less Earth-shaking. Having a strong-rooted history with someone reduces the fear of falling out of love, instead, there's more anticipation for what is to come from the relationship. It's no "mystery" that finding the one makes a committed future appear more like an opportunity than a risk.
Circuit Board
Negative self-talk is deceiving and it damages your inner "circuit board." Connecting to something greater than ourselves gives us our power back. Finding an inner balance and connecting to some form of spirituality is rejuvenating. Giving yourself time to sit with your thoughts and accept yourself for who you are may help you be more patient with your mind and the world around you.
The Internet Is Like Eating Plastic
This is your daily reminder that what you see on the internet is not real-life. "The internet is mean." What is real, is what you experience in your everyday life. Release the tension, unplug from the digital landscape, look up and live your truth; your life.
Arrival to the Garden of Cosmic Speculation (Intermission)
Take a break, do what is freeing to you and acknowledge what you are feeling. Breathe in the air, exhale what doesn't serve you, and head toward the life you are creating. Be "free, free, free."
Asha's Kiss (feat. Asha Puthli)
Love is a force that transcends space and time. It doesn't forget, it's all-knowing and all-encompassing. Accepted between two people, it opens up their souls and changes them forever. With love, you can "go to space;" you see possibilities and embrace wonder––you let go and let in.
Time Flies
Growing up and apart from what you used to be is difficult. Saying "goodbye" to our twenties is indescribable since so much life happens to us between 20 and 29. "Time flies" while we're figuring out who we want to be. That period in our lives doesn't leave us, rather, it defines who we are, and who we are not as our lives progress.
Love Overgrown
Setting boundaries at the beginning of a relationships eases future pain. It encourages a healthy foundation between partners. However, when boundaries are not set, passion is mistaken for love. Most times, it's not until someone gets hurt, and the relationship is at a critical point, that partners recognize that it's "overgrown" and just like weeds in an untended garden, the damage is too vast to be undone.
Endless Summer
When a relationship is over it's devastating. Who will wait for us when that special person leaves us? It doesn't help that people on the outside are living their lives and they are seemingly so happy, and so in love. Why can't we live in an "endless summer?"
New Drugs
Overworked, exhausted and sad. Being a human in today's age is challenging, every minute of every day. Something must remind us what peace and warmth once felt like. Holding onto a "new love" may be the "new drug" that's most necessary to sustain our lifestyles as they are right now.
Let Your Breath Become a Flower (Guided Meditation)
Excuse yourself to a space of your own and focus on your present moment. Practice your breathing and notice your vibration. "Let your breath become a flower," notice as it connects you with yourself and with the Earth. You are protected by the light all around you, let it warm your soul and give you power.
