As I close up my work with the California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) Musical Meditation Club, I am reflecting on the lessons learned, and my personal growth from this opportunity.
What We Have Accomplished ššļøš§š½āāļøšļø
Since April, I have been originating content for the CSULB Musical Meditation Club. This has included a portfolio of items to make the club stand out more online. We have specifically made a one-stop location for all member needs and expanded the club's digital resources. Through this project, I have created a lasting bond with the CSULB Musical Meditation Club and finished my Journalism 240: Multimedia Storytelling course requirements. I invite you to take a second to check out what we achieved during the Alicia x CSULB Musical Meditation Club collaboration.
Online Resources and Multimedia Assets šš»šā°ļø
Each week, I was assigned a new project task to creatively approach and execute. Having to come up with a new idea each week and pitch it to the club helped build my presentation, branding and graphic design skills. After completing this project, I can confidently say that I have grown in my leadership abilities and communication style, and have widened my digital media toolkit. Wrap Up and Thank You šŖ“ššš¤š½
This project has brought me closer to my passions for public relations and communications. I have been able to explore, experiment and challenge my skill sets in these areas. Coming out of this chapter, I have a newfound appreciation for the content creation process.
Throughout this collaboration, I have shown up as my most inspired self. My original goal when starting this work was to enhance the club's online presence and outreachāāand we did just that! In fact, I assisted the club in developing strategic content plans, ideating new digital resources, producing fresh multimedia assets, and publishing content within strict deadlines.
Above all, this experience has allowed me to trust my creative process and gain the courage to take risks. I want to thank the CSULB Musical Meditation Club for collaborating with this third-year public relations major. You have helped me realize my potential and from it, I am excited for whatever challenges may come my way. From this project, I have grown inspired to put myself out there more in the professional world.
I look forward to what will come next. Until then, thank you for following my project journey on my blog. I can proudly say that the collaboration with the CSULB Musical Mediation Club is now complete. Many thanks to Professor Jackie Moe, Nick Perez (club president), Ashley Torres (club vice president), and my readers for your support during this project!
